A picture says a thousand words
Even if someone explains something in great detail, it never really does it the same justice as when you see the picture. A picture brings something to life and gives you a really good idea of what it is. That’s why some of the best restaurant menus have photos right in the actual menu, but for the restaurants that don’t, we got you covered.
While using Sirved for restaurant or menu discovery, you can always look for photos in the photo tab across desktop, mobile web, or our app. We do our best to curate photos for all restaurants but in the same way that not all restaurants have photos on their actual menus, not every restaurant on Sirved has photos. The ones that do have photos on their page offer a glimpse into what their food looks like and how it’s prepared which can really help when it comes to deciding what and where you want to eat.
Some restaurants offer many photos to help you with decisions and other restaurants only have a few. This is where you come in.
If you feel like you’re one of those foodies that puts on a cape every once in a while to help their fellow foodies with a review, edit, or correction somewhere online, then you’re in luck (and so are we). Sirved makes it easy for you to contribute to Sirved restaurant listings by adding photos that you’ve taken of your favorite (or not-so-favorite) dishes, as well as atmosphere photos from restaurants that you’ve visited. All you have to do is create a Sirved account, download the Sirved app and then contribute away. For right now, all our contributions are done through the Sirved app, why you ask? Because it’s the best way for us to create an easy-to-use, friendly experience when uploading your photos.
Once you’ve opened up the Sirved app and created a profile, you can then go to any restaurant page that you want to contribute to. You can do this by searching for the restaurant by name in our search bar. On the right-hand side next to recommendations, you’ll see a + ADD button. Tap that and you’re on your way to contributing one or many photos to a restaurant that needs them, as well as helping other foodies make future decisions. So what are you waiting for? Lights, camera, eat!
