Man, you should just see how many types of poutine are available at Tommy’s Speakeatery in Regina. There’s classic, Italian, smoked meat, buffalo chicken, Mexican, and curry chicken – wow! And the vibe at this pub-like restaurant is just great – all the locals adore Tommy’s and visit repeatedly. The servers are fun, knowledgeable, and all in, which really makes the customer experience a special one. When you enter the door at Tommy’s you feel as though you’ve been “instantly transported to a place filled with fun people and fantastic food.” And the food is exceptional – customers especially love the tacos (“it’s taco heaven,”) schnitzel, apple-filled empanadas with ice cream and bourbon sauce… you get the idea. Another Canadian favorite is donairs, which you can definitely get at Selena’s Donair in Prince Albert. Donair pizza and lamb or beef donair pita wraps and lamb or beef donair platters… you get the drift. And the restaurant’s customers eat it right up! The ingredients are fresh, the prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty – what’s not to like? And if donairs aren’t your thing, you might prefer Selena’s meat-lovers pizza (“a hit! The portions are generous, and the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about what’s on the menu. Food fan favorites include the buffalo chicken poutine, burgers, beer (the pub provides amazing playoff beer specials btw), and fish n’ chips. Continuing the Canadian pub theme, there’s also Pete and Roy’s Canadian Pub in Rosetown to consider too. Show up on Wednesday and enjoy wing night. The pub offers a ton of different sauces and rubs for your wings (some are even gluten-free) – diners love the lemon pepper. And then of course there’s the Canadian fare.
